Hi there and welcome to Jxde Charlotte. First of all; I’m Jade, I’m 27 and if you’re reading this, which I guess you are, you’ve found my little spot on the internet where I love to write about my life, interests and chronic illness.

Jxde Charlotte first started way back in 2012 under its former name ‘Pint Size Pixie’. I didn’t have the first clue about what I was doing other than knowing that I wanted somewhere I could just simply write but out of that, this little blog came to be. Over the years I’ve covered various topics such as beauty, fashion and lifestyle. Cut now to 2020 and I decided it was time for a bit of a fresh start. New name, more authentic and chatty content but still the same old me.

What is Jxde Charlotte about?
I'm a big lover of all things spooky. If I could I'd make October and Halloween last all year long. So expect lots of spooky vibes, bats, horror movies and creepy home decor. I also really enjoy collecting vinyls. Usually a month can't go by without me picking up the odd one or two from a local charity shop or record store.

I've decided to start attempting fashion/style blogging again for 2020. I say attempting because I'm still very much a newbie and sometimes not everything matches. But I'm really loving it so far and it's actually allowed me to put my beloved band t-shirts to a better use than just the occasional trip into town or sat on the sofa with a Gilmore Girls marathon. I also hope to explore more beauty based content this year. Having sensitive skin can be a struggle but I believe it's all about finding the right, cruelty free products. In the past I was incredibly lucky to work with Amie Natural Skincare on this very topic (read my review here.)

Alongside that I talk quite a lot about life, mental health and learning to live with a chronic illness. I'm about two years in and it's a struggle sometimes but I hope that by talking openly about it I can help someone else out there. So to summarize, stick around if you're interested in; lifestyle, fashion, mental health, vinyls, music, beauty and a bit of spookiness.
