Sometimes we all just need to take a step back from our lives and re-evaluate the situation. I know I've had to do that too many times to count. For me there's nothing that works better than going through a list of things that have worked time and time again to cheer me up out of a slump. So in true blogging fashion, I popped them all into one handy post.

* Cups of tea.
* A good, well loved book.
* Chocolate biscuits.
* Snuggling up into a nest of blankets and pillows.
* Cute quotes in picture frames.
* Finding a good series to binge watch on Netflix.
* Scented candles.
* Cuddles from the dog.
* Being inside on rainy days and listening to it falling on the window pane.
* (Attempting) to bake cupcakes.
* A good old Harry Potter marathon.
* The smell of new books.
* Record players and vinyl.
* Getting letters in the post, the nice ones from family and friends. Not so much ones from the bank.
* Writing short stories and blogging. Or just writing in general really.
* Giant chocolate buttons.
* The smell of lavender and chamomile.
* Cozy socks from primark.
* New make-up.
* Winning a difficult level on Candy Crush.
* Made in Chelsea.
* Foxes, or anything with foxes on (cushions, mugs, pictures, etc.)
