Consider this a PSA for all makeup lovers in the Bournemouth area, get down to TK Maxx Castlepoint real quick! I was lucky enough to find these treasures for half price. Needless to say it would’ve taken some cosmic force to get me to leave the shop without them.

Oat milk based caramel Frappuccino, let’s see if it holds (Really hope so because it tastes amazing!) Yesterday was spent having a wonderful reunion with family over from New Zealand and I think it’s made me more determined than ever to get my health in check (as much as possible which to be honest, probably isn’t much in the first place) and try and get out more. Pretty fed up of missing things and experiences; there’s a long long long long list! I don’t know if I’d get over to NZ in a hurry sadly but y’know... baby steps. Maybe one day!

family catch up, oat milk latte & kerrang!

As much as I enjoy summery dresses and the warmer weather I’m ready for it to be Autumn now. Give me crunchy leaves, pumpkin flavoured everything, cute scarfs, actual pumpkins and an excuse to buy this super comfy Primark top in every seasonal colour. Today was spent back at the Chiropractor (now a recurring monthly thing) to release all the frozen/trapped nerves and muscles in my body and to also kick-start my colon back into (slowly) working order. I knew there was a reason Wednesdays have an iffy reputation.

It’s finally here! I’m trying to cram as much as I can in before work whilst getting ready and as you can tell I’m only just starting episode 2. However I can already tell this is going to be the best season yet. Just wishing, hoping and praying the Duffer brothers finally give Joyce Byers a freaking break! 
Update:
Season 3 was eventually completed at 1:30am on 5th July. Without giving anything away I just want to quickly raise a few things: 
1. Things need to be discussed. Lots of things! It can not be left like that.
2. Please give Winona & Millie all the awards. They can split them I'm sure.
3. I have a lot of emotions right now and don’t know how to process them! #momsteve

I’m just going to accept the fact that I'm now a vinyl record Insta account & blog and nothing else. I probably (really) didn’t need this one but somewhere over the years I’ve lost my copy on CD and to this day have no idea where it’s gone and it’s always been a personal favourite of mine. Also doesn’t help that I’m a sucker for a good HMV sale. On a completely different note, how beautiful is this sunny weather? Really hoping it lasts as I’m so fed up of rain. At least for now; ask me again in a week and I’ll be moaning about the heat, but for now it’s good. Lastly, how snazzy is this cute bedding from Primark? Love the leopard print.

Saturday will mark two weeks since I’ve been back at work and I still can’t quite believe I’m actually typing that. Last Saturday was interesting (queue one of the most horrific flare ups I’ve had in a long while) at one point I didn’t think I’d actually even make it in but I did and saw the shift through thank god. We’re now also 99.9% sure that all of these issues are partly hereditary. Looking back on how much my wonderful, lovely Grandma struggled in scarily the exact same way as me has been — in a sense, a form of inspiration. I can’t ever remember her complaining once. Unlike me who’ll complain until the cows come home. She just always seemed to get on with it as best she could and soldier on. I think that’s a good way to approach the bad days. Be more like a Grandma. Try your best, do what you can and always stop for tea and biscuits.

Another day, another two vinyls to add to the collection. Both I already have as a bog-standard CD but there’s no harm having them on vinyl too. Plus they’re both brilliant albums. I picked up Live Through This in the HMV vinyl sale/event and pretty tempted to go back for a few more as they had so many good releases. Depop came through for the Black Veil Brides copy for just £10 so found a proper bargain. In other news I’ve finally returned to work! In a way it actually feels like I never really left and thankfully (so far) everything’s come back pretty easily. It just feels nice to finally be slowly getting back on track and back to ‘normal’. I’m sure they’ll be good and bad days but will just simply try my best to power through it. Plus I don’t think there was anything left for me to watch on Netflix.
